Glioblastoma – a malignant brain tumor.

This multicenter randomized controlled trial aim to answer if removal of a margin of seemingly normal tissue around the tumor will improve survival. This can only be done in very selected cases where patients present with small tumors in beneficial locations. This strategy, with the potential benefit on survival, has to be balanced against the risk of inducing neurological and/or cognitive impairment.
